Before the French Creek School gym was built in 1975 all concerts and special events for the school were held at the Coombs Community Hall which is now a second hand store near Ford Road. We would gather all the props and costumes and students and walk down to the Community Hall for rehearsal and performances. These concerts involved community members as well as the school population. They were really exciting and it was a place for everyone to come together.
