I taught at FCCS in the mid 90’s. A significant memory for me while working in the French Creek community and at the school was its rural setting. The school’s playground was a rich make-believe world for all the children while the creek provided a great opportunity to explore a watery environment and to teach the life cycle of salmon - both rich resources on this BC West Coast. The creek and the forest were an integral part of so many of the classroom programs at FCCS.
